STRUCTURE OF METAL BUILDINGS
IBC provides site specific, fully engineered buildings, such that no two metal buildings are exactly the same.
Although interiors and exteriors may appear completely different, based on certain design requirements, the basic structure of metal buildings remains consistent and include the same basic parts.
The basic elements of a metal building will include primary and secondary structural parts, metal roofing systems, and metal wall-cladding panels. The following diagram shows the different parts that go into the construction of a metal building.
